Day #1 – Run a Complete Backup
January 2, 2019
FreeBefore you start deleting files, it’s a good idea to make a back up of your system as it currently exists. Many backup programs allow you to create a mirror of your hard drive on an alternative disk. This is a good way to prevent loss of a file should you mistakenly delete something in the upcoming days.
If you choose not to perform a complete backup, at minimum protect important personal, school and work files. If you lose all the pics from your dream vacation you wont be getting them back! Make sure that everything is in a safe place before proceeding.
